Tyrone McSorley, PT, OCS, ATC | Physical Therapist

Special Interests: Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Ergonomics, Industrial Rehabilitation, Chronic Pain, Evidence-Based Practice

 

Tyrone McSorley, PT, OCS, ATC is a graduate from the University of Iowa Physical Therapy Program. He has had over 120 thousand-plus hours of clinical work and has served on the 1996 Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. He has lectured on the biomechanics on the neck, shoulder, elbows, hands & wrists, back, hips, knees, and feet & ankles. He speaks and treats from experience when assisting others in the recovery from long-term and short-term pain. He places his emphasis on compassionate and evidence-based care individualized to each person.

Julie McSorley, PT | Physical Therapist

 

​Special Interests: Headaches, Hands-On Approach, Orthopedic, Chronic Pain, Joint Pain, Soft Tissue Mobilization

 

Julie McSorley, PT graduated from Loma Linda University in 1987. She become a physical therapist after being introduced to the profession by her cousin during high school. Having personally dealt with chronic pain and rehabilitation for her injuries and surgeries, Julie is passionate about assisting others decrease their own pain and improve their function. She is especially skilled in manual therapy including joint and soft tissue mobilization. She enjoys getting to know members of the SLO community and assisting them in their personal health and activity goals.

Josie Gallagher | Office Manager

 

Josie was raised here on the central coast.  She received her B.A. in Kinesiology, with a focus in Athletic Training from Whitworth University, and moved back to help family and was excited to start at A.S.P.I.R.E. while contemplating her next step for her education. Josie is enthusiastic to bring her bubbly personality to clinic and is happy to be able to help out patients with their scheduling needs and any insurance questions they may have. When Josie is not at the clinic she is spending time with her large family or her animals. Josie has two dogs and a horse that keeps her hands busy., in the free time she has left she enjoys reading or dancing to relax.
